Bev Schumacher brings practical knowledge to her training from 35 + years in the education field. Her passion is early learning and parent engagement.  As President of Learning Props L.L.C she created educational games and books focused on school-readiness & props for working with families.  Other roles as Author, educator, Parent Involvement Specialist, and Quality Improvement Consultant give her a foundation for offering training in the early childhood field.
With a BS degree from the University of WI –Stevens Point, certification as a Professional Dev. Trainer in WI, and graduate credits in the area of Parent Involvement  Bev has qualifications that enable her to offer meaningful training  at State, Regional, and National Conferences and program in-services.
A recent accomplishment is designing a game for transitioning from Pre-K to Kindergarten for Racine School District that serves over 1000 pre-school children.
Three grown children, 4 grandchildren, a supportive husband and an old house fill her time not focused on families and early learners.
